There is a small spot a block from my hotel that sells oatmeal, just oatmeal. Get it sweetened (made with milk and brown sugar) and add your choice of raisins, almonds, brown sugar, dried fruit, all for $3. Includes an apple or banana. And it's good. City living.
Off to be introduced to Underground Seattle, blocks of the original city that were built over following the big fire that reduced 60 blocks of the city to rubble in 12 hours in the 1880s.
Ally would be all over that. She would ask for golden raisins and cranberries to be added to her oatmeal. Or as she used to say it when she was about 18 months old: oat-meeeeeal.
ReplyDeleteAlly is a very smart 3-year-old. She would have enjoyed seeing the pig truck and maybe eating the pulled pork sandwich. They don't offer peanut butter and jelly; I checked.
