Top Pot Doughnuts (Dennis's recommendation) has a lot going for it:
-An amazing array of doughnuts for one thing. -Bookcase-lined walls for another.
-Root beer for a third.
The books, either family treasures or bought at library sales, are old and familiar. Lad: A Dog; Brave Men by Ernie Pyle; The Blood Transfusion Murders; Seven Plays by Eugene O'Neill. A Modern History ends in 1946. It was published by Silver Burdett which itself disappeared long ago. A great find on a Thursday afternoon in Seattle. It is not all about Starbucks.
